Here in Michigan we had an incredibly warm fall and it was wonderful! Â I’m really missing those warm fall days now that’s January and COLD! Â Below are some photos I took of 2 different days at parks near our house. Â All the photos with my 35mm Canon AE-1 Program.
Afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa Stauffer’s
We live only 6 miles from Ricke’s parents so it’s pretty common for us to end up over there without much notice. Â This was one of those days, the kids were kinda crazy at home and the weather was gorgeous so in order to get some energy out we decided to head over to Grandma and Grandpa’s and help with with some yard work. Â In the 3rd photo down Grandma is showing Asher a tree that Ricke planted when he was young.
Asher’s birthday present
WOW! Â It’s been a long time since I’ve posted here! Â I’ve had plenty of pictures to share but honestly since about the beginning of November I’ve been on my computer very little and have done very little editing of my pictures.
My baby boy turned 4 on November 9th! Â I have no idea where the past 4 years have gone but I just love seeing Asher grow and develop more. Â For his birthday this year he got his first bike. Â Thankfully it was a mild November so he was able to enjoy it.
Wine Tasting and a Lighthouse
At the end of October Ricke and I were once again able to get away for a few days alone. Â It was wonderful to be able to spend time with him and sleeping in till 10am was also pretty great!
In between wineries and lunch on Leelanau Peninsula we stopped by the Grand Traverse Lighthouse. The past couple years we’ve stopped at the lighthouse it had been raining, so it was wonderful to have a nice day this year.
All the pictures were taken with my 35mm Canon with Portra 400.
A Year of Portraits
I have always loved a simple portrait with a clean background. Â So a year ago I decided to take a simple portrait of Asher and Vivienne each month and I’m so glad I did! Â They are so much fun to look back at! Â Sadly though due to all our traveling this summer I didn’t get a July and August portrait, but that’s ok because because thankfully I did have other photos of them to use 🙂
