This trip to Hudson Mills ended tragically for the blue and pink cup in Vivienne’s hand.  As Vivienne and Asher were looking at the river Vivienne dropped the cup, the river was flowing pretty fast so there was no way for me to get it.  Vivienne cried for about minute while Asher sobbed uncontrollably for a good 30 minutes and he still brings it up over a week later.  Asher kept telling we had to go get Daddy and that Daddy could use his fishing pole or sailboat to get the cup.

To be honest, I had no desire to potty train, so when, 3 days before the start of 4 different vacations, Asher decided he no longer wanted to wear diapers and I was not excited about it! I did my best to change his mind, but he wanted nothing to do with it. So Asher started potty training himself. Potty training on vacation isn’t easy but thankfully it’s gone much better then I could have expected.

This girl is something else!  I just love her to pieces! 

Here are a couple favorites from this past week.

Asher has been begging for a few weeks to wear this apron.  Thankfully daddy was home and was able to cinch it in and up in order to make it fit.

Her eyes!  I can’t get enough of them.

This is my new reality.  Asher decided 3 days before we leave for vacation he doesn’t want to wear diapers.  So far things are going really well and thankfully he has essentially potty trained himself because honestly with packing for vacation and chasing Vivienne around potty training was the LAST thing I wanted I deal with.
