I’m thankful to have some time with just Asher while Vivienne naps.

On Thursday evening Vivienne and I drove to my friend Shauna’s house and stayed with her and her 4 boys till Saturday morning.  We had such a good time and I’m very thankful for Shauna’s hospitality and friendship.  Vivienne loved the attention of all the boys!

I’m very thankful that we have a park in our neighborhood and that it is only a two minute walk from our house.  It is such a blessing to be able to take Asher there so he can get all his energy out!

I’m thankful that I have 2 grocery stores within a 1/2 mile of our house!  I was able to leave my house and be back in about 45 minutes.

Even though it’s a ton of work getting the kids all bundled up, I’m thankful we got outside for a bit to play.  I figure if I don’t start the habit of getting out daily now I definitely won’t be doing it when the snow comes!

 

Last Friday I took Asher to my parents house to get some pictures of him.  I had a lot of fun chasing him around and bribing him with M&M’s (which is what is drooling down his face), but it was tough!   My hat is off to photographers who shoot toddlers regularly, they are wild and unpredictable!

I’m thankful that I had the opportunity to teach my little sponge how to make brownies.

 

 

I’m very thankful for the birth of Asher!  He is such a blessing.

I’m thankful for all the Grandparents Asher and Vivienne have and that they were all able to come to Asher’s little party on Saturday.  They all know him so well that he even ended up with a couple duplicate cars :).
