On Saturday I was able to attend the 30th birthday party of one of my good friends, Anna, in Lansing.  I was hesitant to go at first because it’s about an hour away and I’ve turned into more of a homebody during this pregnancy.  But thanks to the encouragement of my husband, I went, and I’m so glad I did.  It was great getting to see everyone and being able to celebrate Anna’s 3oth.  I only took a few pictures but that’s better then nothing.

Only 2 more weeks!  I’m not sure what I’m more excited about, that I only have 2 pictures left to take or that Asher is turning a year in two weeks. 🙂  Ok, it’s that Asher is turning 1 but I will be very glad to be done with weekly photo, but I’m very proud of myself that I stuck with it the whole year and only missed 3 weeks.  Once he turns a year I’m just going to do monthly photos of him because I know I would miss it if I stopped completely.

I feel like the countdown can begin now!  I still have a lot to do to get ready for baby and with the holidays coming up I have a feeling I’m going to be super busy.  At least being busy will take the thoughts off being pregnant, I hope. 🙂

One of my favorite times of the year is when the leaves change.  I love how one day they are green then the next they are a lovely orange/yellow color.  It’s exciting to wake up each morning and see what changes have been made in the trees.  However, that day you wake up and all the leaves are gone is a sad day, which is what happened in the past few days around where I live.  I’m already looking forward to the little green buds that will coming back around March/April.

The past two days here in Michigan have been a little to warm for my liking.  Even so I made the most of it and Asher and I spent the majority of the past 2 days outside going for walks, swinging, and playing in the leaves.
