A Mom and a Camera

One stay-at-home mom documenting the everyday

Just another day

November 28, 2012

I’m so glad Asher has been getting a lot of use out of his tee-pee because I was really hoping he would like it.  It has to be one of his favorite places to be right now.  Besides playing in his tee-pee another thing he has been loving lately is eating his books!  The second picture shows him gnawing on one, I have found several other board books with decent sized chucks out of them! I guess I have to start keeping a closer eye on him while he’s reading :).

34 Weeks

November 27, 2012

Thankfully the contractions have slowed down some, they are still there but not as bad as last week.  I have to say taking it easy is not that easy!  I find I have to force myself to not go around and pick up every little thing Asher gets out but instead just let it sit there, which drives me crazy.  Oh well, I would rather have some clutter around my house then have this baby to early.

Christmas tree lighting

November 26, 2012

On Saturday night we went as a family to our town’s Christmas tree lighting.  Ricke and I went 2 years ago before we were married and I remember thinking I can’t till we have a little family to bring to this.  And now we do :).  We weren’t there that long but at least we made it and my Mother-in-Law joined us so that was nice little treat.   As our kids get older I’m sure it’ll be fun tradition.  The pictures below are a little rough because it was dark and I had my iso cranked up.  I’m really just glad I got a few pictures.

Get in the Picture – Week 7

November 22, 2012

Happy Thanksgiving!

Asher is finally walking more than crawling, so we’re working on holding mom’s hand, especially when we are walking outside.

30 year old chair

November 21, 2012

The chair in these pictures was a gift to me when I turned a year old…30 years ago.  It’s fun having it and being able to pass it down to my children.
