This afternoon, we went to my parents’ house for a visit and since it was nice and sunny out, Asher and I decided to go visit the dogs. Â I’m thankful that my parents have 2 awesome dogs Asher can be around so that we don’t have to get one anytime soon :).
Siblings
I know this picture is slightly out of focus and not that great of a composition but when I look at it makes me so thankful to have 2 kids so close in age. Â Honestly at the moment having a brand new 2 year old and a 10 1/2 month old is hard! Â I know that it will pass and I look forward to them growing up together.
Past few days
I’m thankful to have some time with just Asher while Vivienne naps.
On Thursday evening Vivienne and I drove to my friend Shauna’s house and stayed with her and her 4 boys till Saturday morning. Â We had such a good time and I’m very thankful for Shauna’s hospitality and friendship. Â Vivienne loved the attention of all the boys!
I’m very thankful that we have a park in our neighborhood and that it is only a two minute walk from our house. Â It is such a blessing to be able to take Asher there so he can get all his energy out!
I’m thankful that I have 2 grocery stores within a 1/2 mile of our house! Â I was able to leave my house and be back in about 45 minutes.
Getting outside and 2 year pictures
Even though it’s a ton of work getting the kids all bundled up, I’m thankful we got outside for a bit to play. Â I figure if I don’t start the habit of getting out daily now I definitely won’t be doing it when the snow comes!
Last Friday I took Asher to my parents house to get some pictures of him. Â I had a lot of fun chasing him around and bribing him with M&M’s (which is what is drooling down his face), but it was tough! Â My hat is off to photographers who shoot toddlers regularly, they are wild and unpredictable!
Mending
Poor Vivienne has been sick since Saturday so I’m thankful that she’s starting to get back to her normal happy self.
