This afternoon, we went to my parents’ house for a visit and since it was nice and sunny out, Asher and I decided to go visit the dogs.  I’m thankful that my parents have 2 awesome dogs Asher can be around so that we don’t have to get one anytime soon :).

I know this picture is slightly out of focus and not that great of a composition but when I look at it makes me so thankful to have 2 kids so close in age.  Honestly at the moment having a brand new 2 year old and a 10 1/2 month old is hard!  I know that it will pass and I look forward to them growing up together.

I’m thankful to have some time with just Asher while Vivienne naps.

On Thursday evening Vivienne and I drove to my friend Shauna’s house and stayed with her and her 4 boys till Saturday morning.  We had such a good time and I’m very thankful for Shauna’s hospitality and friendship.  Vivienne loved the attention of all the boys!

I’m very thankful that we have a park in our neighborhood and that it is only a two minute walk from our house.  It is such a blessing to be able to take Asher there so he can get all his energy out!

I’m thankful that I have 2 grocery stores within a 1/2 mile of our house!  I was able to leave my house and be back in about 45 minutes.

Even though it’s a ton of work getting the kids all bundled up, I’m thankful we got outside for a bit to play.  I figure if I don’t start the habit of getting out daily now I definitely won’t be doing it when the snow comes!

 

Last Friday I took Asher to my parents house to get some pictures of him.  I had a lot of fun chasing him around and bribing him with M&M’s (which is what is drooling down his face), but it was tough!   My hat is off to photographers who shoot toddlers regularly, they are wild and unpredictable!
