One stay-at-home mom documenting the everyday
It doesn’t happen all the time but the majority of the when time I ask Asher where his baby sister is he starts patting my belly, it’s so cute :).
These 2 pictures were taken a year ago today.  Asher seems so tiny but it shouldn’t be surprising seeing that he was 3 days shy of being 1 month.
Just some photos of our afternoon.
35 weeks and I’m feeling it!  I’m so close to the end I just need to hang in there a bit more.  The contractions are slowing down some but when I went to see my midwife on Friday she checked me and I’m 1 cm dilated.  In my mind it’s not a huge deal because with Asher I was 4 cm for 2 weeks.  I know though I need to really be paying attention to my body and be extra vigilant to take it easy.  I may be super excited to meet my little girl but I would really like her to stay put for a few more weeks.
Since it was such a nice day yesterday, I decided that Asher and I needed to go and scope out the Christmas trees so we knew what kind we wanted when we go this weekend.  I also figured it would be a great time to get some cute pictures of him in the tree lot.  Thankfully I was able to get a few good ones but it was tough.  Asher wants nothing to do with getting his photo taken when he is outside and seems to want to run in whatever direction I don’t want him to go.  Next time I’m going to take Ricke with me to help out :).
Asher usually hates getting his diaper changed but you wouldn’t know it from these pictures :).  He must have seen the camera and decided not to act up.  I change A LOT of diapers, I thought it would be less once he got older but he is such a heavy wetter and has such sensitive skin that I feel like all I do is change his diaper.  Oh well, such is the life of a mom.
